Make your chocolate coins on wax paper or parchment so the chocolate doesn't stick.

You can add any type of crunchy nut and fruit combination to your chocolate coins.  In France this traditional chocolate candy is called a mendiant. Here in the California chocolate factory we call them California Chocolate Fruit and Nut Coins - it is more descriptive plain English.

Olé, California Chocolate Fruit and Nut Coins or Voila, French Chocolate Mendiants. Take your pick. They are extra yummy by any name.
