Chocolate Wholesale and Samples
Santa Barbara Chocolate offers several types of wholesale gourmet and organic chocolates. If you place an order for a particular type of chocolate, we can include additional free samples of other types in with your package. Here is how you do it: When you place your order through our website, list in the notes section during check out what other chocolate types you'd like to sample and we'll include those samples at no additional charge. Also, our flat rate shipping special is only $6 on any package.
Our wholesale prices are those listed online. We can offer additional significant discounts if you commit to a certain annual volume or prepay for an order. We can also match or beat your current pricing for chocolate. Just email us a copy of a recent receipt with your company name and purchase quantities and we will do our best at offering you the lowest possible price for the highest quality chocolate with the best service in the industry.
Because we are a relatively small specialized gourmet chocolate company and we receive many sample requests daily, it is not possible for us to fulfill these. However, we will include free samples with any order you place through our website.
All of our chocolate is made from either UTZ certified or Rainforest Alliance certified raw cacao. The raw cacao is traded at ethical prices and a fair living wage is paid. We use a reputable broker for all of our raw cacao purchases to ensure that the farmers do receive the payments also. We also use chocolate liquor that is processed in the country where the raw cacao is grown. By doing this, the local government regulates the market ensuring there is a standard of quality and that the farmers are paid fairly and not taken advantage of by some outside source. It also ensures further education of the farmer and families so that they can understand how to operate a business and create a sustainable future for both their family and the environment.
