BSE and TSE Statement for Cocoa Powder
All cocoa powder products manufactured by Santa Barbara Chocolate are derived from plant and not animal origins. They do not come into contact with any animal feed or animal products. As part of our ongoing Supplier Approval Program we closely monitor all products that enter our facility and are used in our powder blends. With these measures in place, Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) and Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE) would not be present in our products.
